DESCRIPTION: The Rome Italy Temple Complex is located on an elevated 15-acre site in northeast Rome near the Grande Raccordo Anulare beltway surrounding the city. The Visitor Center is a 2-Story steel structure with a full basement. The building will serve as a museum and reception center for the public that helps visitors understand the Church through a collection of exhibitions including a reproduction of Thorvaldsen’s Christus and twelve apostle statues. On the second level will reside a family history center and library. The public will be able to use the facilities and equipment to conduct genealogical research free of charge.
